Continued from our previous post The Whole Truth.
We've got two stories here, both taken from The Gateway Pundit. Peak Stupidity has long been frustrated by the hype and National Enquireresqe topics on that site, but proprietor Jim Hoft does do a great job reporting both personal and policy stories on the immigration invasion. I'd recalled wrong yesterday that there were two wins here, but it's one win and one uncertain decision as of today.
That looks like a good amount of acreage with the large structure (73,000 ft2), very dear, to put it in British, in a place like Nassau County (Long Island), New York. Yet a Moslem group paid only $5 million for the whole deal, a place that was a Catholic school since a century ago and then since 1972 a home for Catholic priests. The Moslems have plans to make it a 120-odd kid boarding school with a mosque. Muh ZONING!!! The residents of Saxon St. in the town of Islip say this proposal violates zoning restrictions. It probably does, and one guy in the video news report below even notes that the town didn't want an old folks home there too, for the same reason... a Moslem old folks home... (ha, I kid on the last part.) I take it the Catholic priests weren't so numerous and didn't drive so much, and the school of 54 years ago and prior.
Who would I be to argue this with the residents? This excuse must be all they've got. I hasten to add in this post, that it's not always just cowardice about being honest but perhaps, knowing the diverse and/or left-wing officials they are dealing with, honesty would not result in the best policy. I don't know. I don't like the way the residents attempt to fight. A few let the cat somewhat out of the bag.
You may note the accent of the foreigner who's planning this school and mosque, one Erol Akyurek, and his plans to take over the area with a different culture. He makes it all very clear at 0:43 in: "They don't need to fraid of [sic]* nothin'. People come here like to poor pray(?) This is for our future generations, for... good for our kids." Who are these "our", Kemo-yurek?
Oh,, the White people are fighting back hard. "Many even have signs on their lawn." Now, that there's hard-core resistance!
This is just another example of what we discussed yesterday. When the zoning problem gets fixed, the Islamic school and mosque will get started. Also, because that defense is so obviously weak, the Moslem residents of Islip, like your Erol Akyurek there, can see this and will act accordingly. They will take the neighborhood over, Islippers. He was not mincing words, and he didn't even play along with the zoning game.
The old lady said "We don't want 120 High School kids living here..." Now, if she'd said "We don't want 120 Moslems living here...", that'd be different, but she wasn't gonna say that. The one younger lady did say "I think this would be atrocious for the community." That's getting to the whole truth.

That deal has not been settled as of today.
OTOH, there is happy news from Lancaster, S. Carolina, a small city to the southeast of Charlotte, NC. South Carolina County Unanimously Rejects Mosque Permit After Residents Protest: ‘Islam Is Not a Religion — It’s a Takeover’. Yeah!! Now that's the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Bravo, Lancaster residents!
It's been a stealth operation with one Arafath Mohammad’s Waxlan having bought a house in a normal neighborhood, but then it turned out he planned to demolish the house and build the 3,000 ft2 Mosque there. I hope to find the video from that tweet near the bottom of the GP page - it has both sides of the story, but the speakers from both sides have convinced me that, NO! JUST! NO!

Weirdly, what I like the most is that she pronounced Moslem, yes, the old Peak Stupidity way, "mah-zlim" as opposed to "moo-slim". I can only hope "one resident" from Lancaster is a reader here. She damn well should be. The man who followed did a good job, and for some reason, the council member running the show didn't get on his butt, as he had with the woman, and steer his anti-Mosque statement thusly:

Council Chair Brian Carnes repeatedly tried to steer testimony back to land-use and infrastructure issues such as traffic and compatibility with the residential neighborhood, reminding speakers that the proceeding was quasi-judicial and could not consider religious beliefs directly.Well, if you know what's good for you and YOUR family, Brian Carnes, you might want to consider religious beliefs directly. No, no more excuses. If he's to be fair to his American townsfolk, when he runs these hearings, Lancaster Council Chair Brian Carnes ought to encourage residents to speak the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth... along with a little excess ranting - that's always a plus.
You know we don't end up in this high a note most of the time, so we'll bring up one small point because we must. One thing that may have helped out these residents of Lancaster, South Carolina is "Muh Indian Land". That can be an ace in the hole, what with the old graveyards that Indian ghosts may dance out of on summer nights, but it wasn't one the residents at the hearing pulled out - they just pulled the wild whole truth card.
We need to see more of this. Take note, Americans. This is #WINNING, finally.
