China had to be exempt from required cuts in "emissions"* of 1 of the 2 PRODUCTS of combustion, per the Paris Climate Accords, cause, you know, it's still a "Developing Country" and all that. (Don't let Pooh Bear or the CCP hear you say that, even if in jest as we do! They don't get many American jokes over there, not even the Coca~Cola one.)
This is just another piece of stupidity that should clue us in that the Climate Crisisโข is nothing but a big Con-job, the BIGGEST, in fact!. Yet many of the governments of The West have fallen for it, or just as likely, conned their citizens. Germany is such an example. China, not being part of The West, is a counterexample.
All of Europe, The US, Japan (not sure if they get the breaks), and every other country that wants to virtuously turn down the heat, turn up the A/C, turn down the lights, and, oh, not manufacture so much stuff, can go straight to NET-ZERO for all China cares. Yet, the way China is producing energy, the "net" Carbon Dioxide produced around the world will be higher than during the good old days of the American muscle cars, I mean, if you care about such silliness.

That's no way to do units, because I can't tell if they're metric shit-tonnes or Imperial shit-tons. What's the diff, though, the way this graph is headed?
Here's the thing. China's being very very bad, see, but it's hard to talk to them. They don't listen. YOU go talk to Chairman Xi, cause I'd rather have to explain something to The Godfather... the original. "Whatcha' matter, you! You bring up Carbon emissions on this, the day of my daughter's wedding?"
Germany has long been known to be not just a manufacturing powerhouse but a QUALITY manufacturing powerhouse. You really need some power to be a manufacturing powerhouse or to manufacture a powerhouse, for that matter. That was no problem in the past, as the industrious Germans could be counted on to build nuclear plants that... well, I'd rather live a couple miles from one than 50 miles from a Chinese built plant. Yet, with the help of the GUIs (Green Useful Idiots), the Globalists got the Germans to shut down all nukes. The Germans are thinking twice about this now, last I read, but the economic damage has been done.
Say what you want about the officials of the Chinese CP/Government (one and the same), and WE WILL, yes, they are corrupt, Totalitarian, and evil, but they aren't suicidal like the German officials. Which is better? I hope you have battery back-up so you can write to us here about the Cheap China-made Crap that is about all one can buy.
Where does America stand on this spectrum of suckerdom for the Climate narrative? The internet says we're in the middle at 7 billion tonnes. However, the middle doesn't mean much when you compare China's 12 billion tonnes vs Germany's current 0.6-0.7 tonnes - had to squint to even interpolate it above. A log scale would be best.
You don't see America going full green though. That's not just about the data centers. Even well before, it DID MATTER that a guy like Donald Trump became President. He took America out of the Paris Accords during his 1st term, but then Bai Dien put us back in. Then, there's been Trump'47. "Just when we pull 'em back in, he pulls us back out!" - Globalist Godfather "Big Klausey" Schwabino
* "Emissions" is purposely used by the Climate Alarmists in error, as See Oh Two Ain't Real Pollution! - yes, listen to some AC/DC!

PS
A few years back, in Florida, I pointed to what looked like a camera on the streetlight pointing toward our building. She told me I might be paranoid. I think the flock of Flocks is just a more in-your-face version of what has been going on for some time already.
TBH, they could have gotten away with far more stealthy cameras that would escape the notice of most people. Theyโre just rubbing our faces in it.

PS: That IS good news, Mr. Smith. Interestingly, there are people on both the hard-left and then your Libertarian types like us, who are for destroying this Orwellian system.
"Officers subsequently checked the various locations where the Flock cameras were placed and found that the poles were cut down near the base.โ - shades of Cool Hand Luke. The poles were found nearby but with no cameras on them.
"The cost to replace each camera and pole is about $3,000." I'm glad, and I almostI hate to even ask this, but how do the cops not have video of the people taking down the poles?
This is from your 1st article, which I'm sure you've read. For others, this is not the Winona along and in the song "Route 66".

PS: I got 4.4 billion tonnes annually for India in '24, so it's what 5 billion now.
But it too is a developing country - any day now! - so we must leave them out of the net-zero agreements too, I guess.

PS
You think China is bad, look at India: Currently #3 in emissions and growing at >6% per annum, while Chinese emissions growth is flat to declining.

There are a few of these flock cameras here in Lumpkinville. (Mostly on the main roads in and out of town.) Everyone one that I have noticed has only had one camera on it, pointed in one direction. (Just sayin'...)
(I can't believe these don't have 360 camera view. Part of the psyop?)
