Peak Stupidity introduced the Zhou Bai Dien topic key for a post written on October 1st of '20 titled The Lyin' Press of 1988. The post was about the long-forgotten (by most Americans) major story of Senator Biden's plagiarism from the 1988 Presidential campaign. Yes, that WAS long ago, but not quite so much in '20 or '16 when the plagiarist ran for VP. Since then, we're up to 106 posts with this TK attached, if I counted right.
The choice of a topic key, of course, was a play on Joe Biden's relationship with China, something obvious to anyone who just read headlines about son Hunter and his relationships IN China well before that election time. Underage sex, drugs, and I don't know how much Rock & Roll were in the stories, and I found it hard to believe that Hunter Biden was that charismatic and handsome that the young Chinese girls (and drugs) just up and swarmed him as if he were a 6th Beatle. The Chinese aren't stupid and young Bai Dien didn't get something for nothing.
The most Peak Stupidity wrote about this damaging connection between Bai Dien and the Chinese was in a 3 year later post - Bai Dien, Ctrl-left, Globalists, and Big Biz caught Red Handed. That was a book review of Peter Schweizer's Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win. The Bai Dien family was
Since then, we've switched to writing "Dark Brandon" or just Brandon more, because i really like those. Has the issue of blackmail of Dark Brandon for 4 years or 8 by the Chinese government been forgotten? I guess he can't do any more damage in his current state of unoccupancy of the office and his mind.
I feel vindicated though, after reading a recent PJ Media/Matt Margolis article, Bombshell Documents Point to China Blackmail Efforts Targeting Biden Family. Yes, you have to view some Regime media clips to get some of the story, with an interview of one Catherine Herridge, who seems on the up and up. (I know nothing about her more than she's Canadian born, and reported for CBS, then FOX news, and has been on the case of Chinese subterfuge in America since at least '17.) She's gotten ahold of some declassified documents. (Between this and Fauci's diary, Washington vacationing beachgoers have got reading material for the rest of the summer. The Epstein Files are on hold at the local branch of the library.)
Mr. Margolis begins:
Do you remember how, during the 2020 campaign, Donald Trump warned voters that China knew things about the Biden family's business dealings that gave Beijing real leverage over Joe Biden? He said Biden was compromised, and the legacy media rolled its eyes, called it a conspiracy theory, and moved on.I do remember that. Then, as the writer mentions too, the ctrl-left blocked investigation of that badly misplaced Hunter Biden laptop computer. They turned the story around and turned it into part of the Russia, Russia, Russia story that it was Trump who was influenced, and by those OTHER former Commies. If this was planned, I must admit that was brilliant. It distracted TV news viewers for a couple of years along with distracting Trump himself the whole time.
Emmy-winning investigative reporter Catherine Herridge has spent years digging into the Biden family's foreign entanglements, going back to her coverage of the Hunter Biden laptop. While combing through newly declassified material tied to China's 2020 election influence operation, she found something that should be front-page news everywhere: government records referencing Chinese blackmail efforts aimed squarely at the Biden family. Herridge laid it out for Katie Pavlich on Katie Pavlich Tonight on NewsNation. The Administrative State is being slowly turned around, or so we read and hope, so the cover-ups and distractions that Mrs. Herridge described are over.
"I found these records which are talking about blackmail by China," Herridge said. "It was for President Biden's daily brief. I can conclude, I think, that it was probably about targeting his family."
A week or so ago, President Trump gave a speech that centered on Chinese influence on election fraud. Peak Stupidity leans heavily to thinking that Trump wouldn't care a whit about any of this had he officially won the election in '20. If it's not personal, he doesn't care so much. It is, though, so he does. That's a big story itself, but we just appreciate that our coinage "Zhou Bai Dien" for the former President is still a good one. "Dark Brandon" is more encompassing - it includes his evil work of arranging the big invasion of foreign hordes. Compared to the Population Replacement Programme, the Chinese influence is so... existential.
In answer to the title question, probably not.
