I don't have a topic key to fit this. "Hatred" might work. Peak Stupidity was going to post something lighthearted today, but we came upon the following story on The Gateway Pundit:HORROR! 20-Year-Old McDonalds Manager Hospitalized With Third Degree Burns After Employee Threw Hot Oil on Him – “Why Would He Do This to Me?” (VIDEO). The video is not of this happening, something I really wouldn't want to view, but of this young White man's Mom in an interview out in Yuba City (near Sacramento), California.
Jacob Smith, 20, was hospitalized following the incident, and he is still being treated for severe injuries, including third-degree burns to his face, neck, hands, and shoulders, at UC Davis Medical Center. It happens in wartime and occasional bad accidents - people getting burned, that is - and it's horrific. Remember a time when you burned a pencil eraser sized spot on your finger, or scalded a square inch of your skin. Then, imagine that multiplied over big areas of your body. It's the worst pain, as far as I know. I remember reading a story of someone who'd been in the hospital 5 years for burns. When he came out, he not only said he'd wished he was dead when in the hospital, but he still wished he had died, so as not to have experienced that much pain.
This was not in war, and it wasn't an accident. I didn't even find anything out about WHY this 25 y/o black man decided to throw cooking oil on his manager, as the guy wasn't expecting it while sitting down in his office. I mean, who expects that?!
The heartbroken mother told KCRA that the burn injuries cover “the whole side of his face, down his neck, all the way down his right arm, and across his back.”It's not that kind of pain, but it is mentally painful to listen to this:
“The pain he’s experiencing is so excruciating that they can’t give him the level of pain medicine outside of the ICU,” she said. “They’re just telling me that their goal right now is to decrease the size of the burn on his back and his neck area to try to minimize the amount of skin grafting that they’re looking at having to do, but, you know, it’s going to potentially become more painful.”
“I want justice to be served. I want him to serve the time that he needs to serve, you know, for what he’s done to my son… I don’t wish bad things towards him,” Smith added. “I want him to understand what he did, like really understand what he did, and the pain that he caused to my son was excruciating.”I'm not sure he could possibly understand all this, unless he had hot cooking oil thrown over his body. At the very least, were I the young man in the burn center, I'd want to shoot him dead.
I won't even try to find the interview (it's on the page linked-to here), because I heard the reporter say "alleged assault". That's also stupid. The young man's in the burn center - he GOT ASSAULTED. "Alleged assault suspect", OK, for legal reasons, though there are cameras everywhere now. They know who did it, this piece of human garbage that goes by Jalani Bluett. Then, we are told that "His family believes the liquid thrown on him was hot oil". Well, that's what they use to cook the nuggets and french fries, so, yes, they KNOW this. Finally, the woman signed off with her full Spanish-accented name, a big turn-off.
"Why would he do this to me?" Because he's a stupid, evil nigger, that's why. I pray for young Jacob, for his pain to subside. Hopefully, Jalani Bluett will spend his life or as much as possible of it, well away from White people.
Tomorrow, we'll get to Smart Light Bulbs.

So, I did a quick search about how to ship a chicken to (redacted) or to Sedan. It is fair to say that shipping a rooster is indeed cost prohibitive. I think I could get him shipped to (redacted) for about $200. Shipping a rooster to France... Well, as far as I can tell it would cost somewhere in the $4000+ zone. (There may be other fees involved in shipping a rooster to France that I have not accounted for.)
But that's ok. We talked to one of the neighbors, and he has a friend who has chickens who might(?) be interested in a free rooster. (Plan A)
Alternatively, there are a couple different people nearby (less than a mile) that have chickens. Perhaps this rooster ran off from one of those places.(?) If Plan A doesn't work out I'll go ask each of them if they're missing a rooster. Or if they'd like to have him.
Surely, he came from somewhere not too far away.
(Anyway...) I hope you guys have a wonderful evening.
Cheers! ☮️

G’day, All.
Mr. Smith, you might visit this link with an old meme from yesteryear about, in this case, asking a graphic artist to make a poster for a lost cat…
https://27bslash6.com/missy.html
Mr. Mod, I flush my water heater in Florida from time to time to avoid that, especially since it spends much of its life turned off. Only 15 years old though.

$146k (of $200k asking) should help take some of the pressure off for a while. But who knows what his hospital bills will ultimately amount to. It seems unfair that he should have to pay these bills himself. (You know, because the so-called "government" mandates that employers hire these monsters, maybe the so-called "government" should pay for the mayhem, monkeyshines, and all the other damages they cause. Of course, this would only work if the criminal scumbags who masquerade as "government" used their own money to pay for this instead of using funds ill-gottenly gained by parasitizing the taxcattle.)
Maybe the McDonald's corporation should pay his hospital bills? Maybe McDonald's should sue the "government" to recoup the costs of this liability? The only real solutions I see are not politically correct. (My solutions would make Steve Sailer sad and are the same reason I have been lifetime banned from twitter twice.)
We shouldn't have to live this way.
Looking forward to the smart bulbs post. (I love electricity.)

(I noticed this from one of your unz comments.)
Yeah, those water heaters do build up the crud and sediment at the bottom of the tank. You might be able to unclog the drain with a pick, a piece of wire, a coat hanger or something, but at 38 years old, you should be careful before you go poking around like that. (Wouldn't want to poke a hole in the bottom of an old rusty tank.)
Good luck with your repair.
I hope it goes better than planned.

PS: Thanks for the interesting and varied comment, Mr. Smith. "Alleged, allegedly... '. I think there at least used to be some legal reason for using that phrasing about "who did it". However, the crime itself is NOT alleged, but that's the way this idiot reporter put it.
Yes, that's what you can expect - this assailant had "an episode" of something, cause he's on some sort of spectrum (not the vitamins) AND, sure throw in that the manager called him that NWTMNBU. ("Uttered" is the "U".)
I think shipping for the rooster would be somewhat prohibitive for me, and most certainly for The Alarmist, but thanks for the offer. We need the hens first. Got a place for them but can't get this going right now.
First thing today is to work some more on the 38 y/o water heater. I put in a new anode, but I can't drain the thing out - even under the water pressure. There's a lot of crud in there, and I don't know if I will first siphon off the 40 gallons before I unscrew the drain spigot. I'm worried that all the crud is keeping the thing from leaking! I only need another year or two out of it.

PS: I get what you are saying, Alarmist, about parents being so lenient like this just encouraging more. I am not sure if having a major deterrent in store like the death penalty would work or not on some of these people. They just don't think ahead. Rage and impulsiveness, and maybe some regret later.

PS: Good morning, Messrs. Alarmist and Newman,
(I've been meaning to chime in for several days now. I hope you're doing well...)
Alleged, allegedly... Sometimes this makes sense. (There are an unfortunately large number of innocent people charged and convicted of crimes they simply didn't commit.) But, when we know who did it, and there is no doubt. Well, then all this 𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑔𝑒𝑑 nonsense seems not only shallow and performative but horribly dishonest.
I didn't see this happen, but years ago, when I worked at Arby's as a teenager, I knew a guy who fell off a ladder and landed in a deep fryer. (I guess he was changing some fluorescent lights or perhaps a ballast but it's been like 30 years and this detail might not be precise.) Fortunately*, he landed arm first. (*Not as fortunate as 𝐧𝐨𝐭 landing in the fryer would have been, but relatively speaking, as it could have been much worse.)
As you can imagine, his arm suffered some seriously severe burns. And naturally, some other parts of his body got splashed with hot oil including parts of his face, neck, back, and abdomen. He had some wicked scars from his ill-fated misadventure. (This fryer incident happened some years before I met the guy. I imagined it was painful, but we never really talked about that. We were merely acquaintances and co-workers for a short time.)
But yes. I too hear that severe burns are some of the most painful things one can experience.
I wonder if they can find a more smiley picture of Jalani Bluett? Maybe his mom has a photo of him when he was just a child? In any case, Bluett pleaded not guilty (he dindu nuffin) to the three felony charges. (Assault with a deadly weapon or instrument other than a firearm, mayhem and battery with serious bodily injury inflicted.)
𝐵𝑙𝑢𝑒𝑡𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑠𝑐ℎ𝑒𝑑𝑢𝑙𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑟𝑒𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑛 𝑡𝑜 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑡 𝑛𝑒𝑥𝑡 𝑊𝑒𝑑𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑑𝑎𝑦 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑓𝑢𝑟𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑐𝑒𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑠 𝑖𝑛 ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑐𝑟𝑖𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑎𝑙 𝑐𝑎𝑠𝑒. 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑗𝑢𝑑𝑔𝑒 ℎ𝑎𝑠 𝑎𝑙𝑠𝑜 𝑠𝑐ℎ𝑒𝑑𝑢𝑙𝑒𝑑 ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑎𝑟𝑦 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒𝑔𝑖𝑛 𝑛𝑒𝑥𝑡 𝐹𝑟𝑖𝑑𝑎𝑦, 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑠𝑒𝑐𝑢𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑠 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑡𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑦 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑒𝑣𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑑𝑒𝑐𝑖𝑑𝑒 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝐵𝑙𝑢𝑒𝑡𝑡 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑎𝑙.
Yeah, maybe this guy is too dumb to stand trial. (IQ below 70, for the win!) Or perhaps the court will find that he had been disrespected? (and was therefore justified?) Maybe Jacob Smith said the hurty word? Maybe he thought the hurty word?
"𝑊ℎ𝑦 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 ℎ𝑒 𝑑𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑚𝑒?" Uh-oh. Looks like someone should've had the Derbyshire talk with their son. (Looks like Jacob Smith shouldn't have relaxed.)
𝐽𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑏𝑒 𝑑𝑟𝑜𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑝 𝑖𝑛 𝑎 𝑣𝑎𝑡 𝑜𝑓 ℎ𝑜𝑡 𝑜𝑖𝑙...
Pretty much. I don't see any reason that the taxcattle should have to house and feed this guy when 30 caliber cartridges are so readily available.
In other news... Do either of you guys want a rooster? He's a good bird who wandered into our yard about a week ago. At first it was an interesting novelty. But now, Mrs. Smith is worried that he will get in her flowers and/or otherwise harm some of the plants around the yard? I'm more concerned about where he'll live when winter comes. (You know, if he were to stay, which seems increasingly unlikely.) I've thought about shooting him, but I'm not sure that he doesn't belong to one of the neighbors. I guess I should call around a little and see if someone is missing a bird.(?) Maybe I'll print a few "missing chicken" posters to put on the neighborhood stop signs.(?) Maybe he'll become chicken and dumplings.(?)
Anyway... If either of you would like a rooster, he's yours.
Happy Tuesday! ☮️

There’s no question that people like the perp are the first order problem, but attitudes like that of the victim’s mother are also a problem, and I’m not sure if it is a second-order problem or actually a zeroth-order problem (chicken-egg).
Justice in this case is not the perp doing what will be too little time on the taxpayers’ dime. Someone this twisted should never be let out on the streets. As to degree of justice, I lean Islamic or Abrahamic on this. Justice would be dropping the perp in a vat of hot oil.
We can call it a 360 degree review.
