This is about the younger generations, who used to, I guess, use that “muh” this or that to indicate disdain for one’s caring about this or that. Part of my problem with the young generations is that I keep looking at The Gateway Pundit site for stories. Among a few decent informative posts, I am really miffed by the pure exaggeration of what’s considered “brutal”, “horrible”, or “aggressive” by these young writers.
She’s still filming while she’s getting back on her feet!
A story I tried to avoid a few days ago was TPUSA Reporter Savanah Hernandez Brutally Assaulted Outside Whipple ICE Facility in Minneapolis (VIDEO) . (This story went farther than The Gateway Pundit too.) I’m most definitely on the side of this young lady who was filming the usual - kind of tiring at this point - obstruction by the ctrl-left of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, in their current high-profile role of coming and getting illegal aliens and sending them home.
This Savanah Hernandez was videoing the action, as the rude-as-usual protestors kept trying to block her angle and jostle her. One guy (I THINK it was a guy, but it’s hard to tell these days) ended up throwing a punch and then quickly wrestling her to the ground. That’s aggressive, sure. He didn’t do this in self-defense or as part of a real mix-up riot either, so it’s assault, which is still a crime, at least for those on the one side of Anarcho-Tyranny (we’ll get to this).
Instead of trying to block that punch or perhaps cushion her fall, young Savanah kept filming. She wasn’t hurt, so she got up quickly… as she, you guessed it, KEPT FILMING. Is there some way to explain to the young generation that iPhones are not weapons? (I suppose that’s something that apple and your smarter terrorists are working on.) If that filming was for the record, say her day in court, well, she could count on plenty of video being available.
It’s just not what I’d do. I’m not a girl, but I HAVE seen those mud-wrestling shows. Savanah could have done something physical. I’d have jumped the guy after the fact and let him have it. Is that just some old Boomer thing, I guess, not letting one’s self get beat up, if possible?
The main point is, you ain’t seen a “BRUTAL ASSAULT”, if you think this was one. There’s really no excuse for these young “journalists” to abuse the terminology, as these young people can see what a brutal assault is on youtube, after a quick search of “black guy kills…” Or, “black woman kills…” About everyone has seen the video of poor Iryna Zarutska dying right there on the city bus in Charlotte, N.C. If not, there’s a new BRUTAL ASSAULT daily, and those are just the ones captured on video that have gone viral. This little incident at the ICE facility was not it. I guess there are Snowflakes on both sides up there in Minneapolis.
“Ommmm…. Ommm. Someone’s dousing, Lord, Kumbaya…”
The next one I came upon was even more stupid and exaggeratory. MORE LEFTIST VIOLENCE: UC Berkeley Student Douses Conservative TPUSA Table With Coffee — University Silent . “Now we see the violence inherent in the coffee!” It’s the same general story here. Normal, calm, sane Conservatives “act out” by setting up folding display tables on campus and handing out flyers, perhaps talking nicely, maybe saying “prove me wrong”.* The ‘tards of the ctrl-left can’t stay calm. They can’t put up with a challenge to their views.
So they doused, DOUSED, I tell you, the display tables with coffee! Now, you throw hot coffee in someone’s face, and that could be a serious assault, considered actual violence due to the harm from scalding. (Let’s not mention the Moslems and acid.) This was just a typical childish temper tantrum thrown by typical deranged leftists in, where was that, Berkeley, California, just your normal American town…?
What you do is, no, not keep filming the table and the coffee, but grab whatever solid object you have nearby, the empty coffee pot, a stapler, or the iphone already IN your hand, and you bash that son-of-a-bitch with it. Or you throw a punch. I’m not sure I could stop myself from doing this, at least within 5 seconds of the dousing,… oh, it turns out it was a girl. That’d be tougher to handle, I’ve got to admit. These bullies, if you remember the deal about bullies, will keep it up if you don’t fight back. Hey, they should be glad it wasn’t a pot of potatoes.
Now the silly Gateway Pundit writers may be exaggerating for their cause, “those evil leftists” - well they are evil, but this is not the evil you should be worried about. Pol Pot, Mao ZeDong, Joe Stalin, etc., etc. are the types to worry about when it comes to evil brutal assault and violence. There was no crying over spilled coffee under those regimes.
Then, these writers, of the same generation, might be the kind of snowflakes that really believe their exaggerations. What this really comes down to is decades of damage from the lower-Ed system. The children never get a chance to fight back. You hit back, and the “School Resource Officer” will put the same long-lasting bad mark on your record as for the other guy. Remember “I don’t care who started it?!” That was a bunch of bull then, and it’s a bunch of bull now.
This kind of behavior is weird to someone of my age, at least my background, because, besides a few tough sportsball coaches, if a fight got dangerous, there was nobody around to break it up and no cop to turn it into a federal case.
That was one of my Dad’s expressions: “Let’s not make a federal case out of it.” Well, whaddya’ know, per (but of course!) the Gateway Pundit again, Harmeet Dhillon: DOJ ‘Will Explore Possibility of Federal Charges’ in Brutal Assault on TPUSA Journalist Savanah Hernandez . See, that there is exactly what he was talking about, 50 years ago.
Finally, let me mention the Anarcho-Tyranny. That is part of the explanation for this kind of behavior. We’ve compared the George Floyd rioters to the J6 rioters and noted the extreme difference in how they were treated by the law. That’s got to be on the minds of Conservatives who mix it up with the ctrl-left. This has gotten a whole lot better since the end of the Brandon Administration and the nice amount of influencing being done on this score by President Trump.
You’ve still got to be extremely careful if you are a Conservative though. OTOH, after a few ass-kickings of the Anarcho-Tyrannical bullies themselves, maybe we can go back to the old way.

Mrs. Alarmist and I were watching reporting from Lebanon on tonight’s news, and the helmeted and flck-vest wearing Brit reorter and his camera guy hit the deck as an Israeli missile flew overhead and hit about half a click away, and the look on Mrs. Alarmis’s face was precious when I said, “They’re being overly dramatic, that was nowhere near. I’ve had closer.”
Then again, the Izzies have been offing reporters all over the place, probably because there have been too many news reports showing them killing doctors and children.
It will be funny to watch all these woke “activists” in action when they are drafted to die for Israel.
