The TSA - A word to the wise

Apparently, it's NOT OK to say "this is kinda faggy" when being felt up by an OFFICER of the TSA.

Though Stupidity is our Core Competency here, we feel it incumbent upon us to occasionally provide some of that "News You Can Use". That was such.

Our file photo below - supplied purely as clickbait - from this old post, shows a somewhat parallel situation but even worse. I.e., I don't think the TSA guy in my case was gay, but I probably wouldn't have been kicked out to another checkpoint if he had been... Just sayin'... queue up Third Rate Romance, Low-Rent Rendevoux.

Nope, no Humor tag today.

PS: "It’s worse in many European airports, because way too many of their “security inspectors” are recent third-world imports with an axe to grind, as if I, a White Male of European descent, am more of a threat to Western civilization than they and their largely unassimilated family members living off my tax Euros."

I totally agree, Alarmist. That's why things got pretty nasty at London Heathrow a few years ago. As prissy as any Brit "TSA" women might be it's that the people searching through my stuff weren't even British that made it worse. I remember yelling "I better get every bit of that cash out the other end!" at one point.

PS: Yeah, you should have know to separate your Weber's mustard into many 3 oz bottles, and bring one down each trip, Adam. 3 oz and under of ANYTHING is safe, while anything over 3 oz., yes, even Weber's mustard, could very well be explosive or otherwise a threat to air travel.

Ha, and I haven't even had Weber's mustard. I like that Guilden's dark mustard though.

I enjoyed the update on what's going on with you all there in the North Georgia foothills.

We are traveling and I left the electronics that I'd use to post back somewhere on the trip - at least they've got it, so I can retrieve it later. I'm writing from a hotel desktop computer. (Actually, it's under the desk or somewhere.)

PS

Yeah, totally fake & ghey.

Happy Travels, Peakers.

Glad to hear you had good weather on your mountain, Mr. Smith. We had glorious weather on the beach today, but looking at a cold front to about push through your neck of the worlds and force me back into winter clothes for a couple days to ring in the New Year.

PS: Good afternoon, Achmed!

TSA is so gay.
and stupid.
and useless.

(I'm still disappointed with the TSA guy in Buffalo for stealing our Weber's mustard because it was slightly too large. What a fag.)

I hope you've been well and hope you enjoyed your Christmas. The weather has been so beautiful here for most of the last few weeks. (~75 sunny and perfect out there today!) I've been meaning to chime in but I've also been taking an unplanned vacation of sorts from the internet because it has just been too beautiful outside to stay inside playing on the interwebs. (They say taking a break from the screen is good for the cataract. So that's cool, I guess.)

All is well here. We enjoyed a nice quiet Christmas at home. Grilled some garlic roasemary lamb chops for lunch and sipped some prosecco into the evening.

I've got to run for some lawnmower gas to finish cleaning up around the yard before the rain (and eventually winter) comes. Looks like it will get cold for a spell next week, but hey. It is almost January.

I have a couple Strauss and Howe books to upload for your Generational Theory posts a couple posts back. I even took a few small video clips of the wind on a not so windy day here atop the mountain for you (regarding your comment under post 3404) but I have not yet loaded them into the video editor because it has been too beautiful outside for such nonsense. (If I don't get to them this evening I'll get to them soon. Looks cold and rainy starting Monday.)

So yeah. That's about it. Hope you and the Newman family have a great afternoon and weekend.

Merry Christmas! ☮️
