We must remember that this tweet is from 5 years ago. Comrade

I came upon the tweet by the NYC Mayoral candidate here on The Gateway Pundit. What are we to make of this guy? I had been getting a combination Maria Muldaur / Toto / Sergeant Pepper-era Beatles vibe based on his name. Now, I'm getting a real Doctor Zhivago vibe.
Before we go any further with this post, you oughta mash the play button on Lara's Theme just below. (It should keep playing in a loop.)
Doctor Zhivago was a great epic movie with lots of Russian history. It is great as in entertaining and enlightening, epic as in very long (There's an intermission even on the DVD - say what?! - with Lara's Theme playing), and history defines the storyline. Peak Stupidity has embedded the scene below already somewhere. Though the movie is a story of love and war and peace and other gloomy Russian themes, Communism plays a significant part in the story. The scene below is where the essence of Communism hits home for Doctor Zhivago and viewers like you.
Based on his tweet above, we can imagine that it might not be too long, a little over a century since what's depicted, before this scene plays out in a deluxe apartment home in the sky, in Central Park West. Unfortunately, the new residents you may be bunking with, Comrade, who have been invited to share your home by the Central Park West Soviet, don't resemble no George Jeffersons... maybe a few budding Wheezies in the group...

PS: As a Coast Guardsmen, I imagine you do like everything about the water, SafeNow. Yes, he swims better than me at this point, and I think better than I did at THAT point. Then someone else in my family doesn't swim AT ALL. That's not good.
It's unfortunate about the book reading that he is still into these more juvenile series of books.
What do you think of Gene(? - going by memory) Siskel who was Roger Ebert's partner on the movie review show they had? Maybe Ebert was the real movie buff (and understander of life in general)?

Mr. Moderator, the Roger Ebert review is online. Simply Google “Dr. Zhivago Ebert.” Many or even most of Roger’s reviews are online. Years ago I purchased all of the hardbound books compiling Roger’s reviews, and I read every review.
By the way, I believe Roger’s reviews transcend film interpretation. He had a knack for understanding…well, I will call it…how life works. If I had a teenage son on summer vacation right now, I would pay him to read all of these books. if I recall correctly, some years ago, you had a young boy who was boogie boarding at the beach. You could pay him to do some of this reading …if he is still a young boy..I lose track of time. You recently mentioned that he joins you for a swim in the pool, and it makes me happy to hear that he is a friend of the water.

PS: Do you have the whole review by Roger Ebert, SafeNow? I'm no real "film" aficionado, as you've probably figured from the reviews here. I tend to just believe the actor is that character, unless the acting is really bad ... or it's a black guy playing Hitler or something...
The only other big movie, and one that I watched is, starring Omar Sharif is "Lawrence of Arabia". I just can't remember much.
Have you read the book? I am wondering how well the movie follows the story in the book.

“… it is not easy to care much about Zhivago himself, in Omar Sharif‘s soulful but bewildered performance.” - Roger Ebert
I agree with Ebert. (as usual, if you recall my many references to Ebert in iSteve). This made it hard for me to sympathize with communism’s nasty impact that habitation displacement or other displacements would have. Many actors would be better cast to evoke sympathy for communism’s life-ruining effects.
