In the comments under our recent post You will control NOTHING and be happy, Adam Smith discussed d a few editorials by people in the energy "sector" who deign to control our lives, in the name of the Climate Calamityโ„ข. They've got a new term, as their old stuff was getting tiresome:

Because only a fool who lives in the woods or a commenter at PeakStupidity wouldn't want to accelerate the march toward decarbonization.
I think Mr. Smith is being sarcastic in his opinion of us readers...

Decarbonization is something a species of carbon-based life forms should be especially wary of. I remember reading the sciencey type sci-fi books I used to like - what if the day on this other planet was a year long, what if there were 3 big moons, what if we were silicon-based instead of carbon-based creatures, etc.?

Mr. Smith kindly provided Peak Stupidity with the image below. I'd always thought AI was kind of gay, but not after this! Or IS this AI at all? If not, I will say that formerly-little Greta leaves a huge silicone footprint or two... not that there's anything wrong with that. No, not at all.

PS: Hello, Mr. Anon. I watched that whole video by Crusader Gal. It was very good - she speaks well on an interesting subject. I may try to dig back to videos she made during the Kung Flu PanicFest.

Wow. That Sophie Rain is quite fetching, and $43 million for being on Only Fans! What does that one subscriber get for that $4.7 million, I wonder? I'm not sure how she can maintain those values, but I haven't read that article yet.

Thanks for clearing that up. Yeah, they changed faces and removed (at least) a couple of tattoos.

I read your comment with suggestions for mercury-switch thermostats. Thank you for that too. We will be getting a new unit - hopefully there will be nothing too complicated that negates the usefulness of one of the simple thermostats. I get the programming to turn it off during certain hours, etc, etc., but we're fine changing it manually. I may stock up on them. Everything goes up!

I don't know Erika Diamond or Seth Frader๏ผœhyphen๏ผžThompson, but I wonder if they know how much carbon dioxide is in the atmosphere. (0.04%) I'd imagine that they would say that carbon dioxide has reached 420ppm. (The highest ever! AAAAHHHHH!) But I really don't know. While I think they likely are true believers in the canons of the Church of the Everlasting Climate Catastrophe they could very well just be grifters chasing that easy climatehoax money.

I'm not an evangelical. (Nor am I a Seventh-day Adventist as Mr. Hail so keenly observed.) But I do not believe that carbon dioxide emissions are changing the weather. I guess that makes me a climate denialist.
