I'd almost forgotten this one. As with the other Circuses (often watched while eating unlimited breadsticks, soup, and salad), such as the RNC and DNC this summer, I was not willing or even capable of watching the '24 da-da-daaah!, Olympiad! (Actually, were I willing, I might have found a way, yeah, maybe at the Olive Garden.)
However, I imagine even our readers who also didn't watch it would have heard of the Genderbender nonsense that went on, especially this boxing story. I'm sure I missed a lot after this story, but all I got here is something I read saying Angela Carini abandons Olympic fight after 46 seconds against Imane Khelif.
The beauty here is that the whole article is a veritably Olympiad of Stupidity. I'll just go bit by bit:

I may (or may not) have told this story before, but here goes...
My grandfather, until the day he died, scoffed at female cops. He always said they had no business in that line of work. You see, in the mid to late 40's grandpa had a childhood friend who applied for employment with the Buffalo PD. (This man would later go on to be an FBI agent.) But his friend's application was rejected. He was disqualified because of the height requirement. This man was, apparently, simply too short to be an officer with the Buffalo Police at the time.
Grandpa's friend was only 6'2".

I read your link to the post on the newest iteration of "The Daily Bell". I think that name come from the bell rung at the end of a market session, as I recall that ZH used to link to this site a decade ago due to its financial coverage. ("It" being both ZeroHedge AND The Daily Bell.)
I clicked on comments below a ZH article on the stupidity regarding reporting of the ACTUAL job numbers, nearly 7/8 of a million lower than lied about, errr, reported last year. First of all, almost all the commenters chalk up to evil the reporting of this error to the finance people via some plain old BLS office phone line vs. a real announcement the other day rather than incompetence. Man, they cling to their financial world for dear life, even these, well, what used to be, great group of commenters. Nah, it's stupidity this time. Wokeness, aka, AA on steroids, means that you don't get your competent 10:30 prompt BLS announcements so that all the market people can do their gambling from the same starting line.
I noticed this before 12 years ago: Though the were then a hilarious and greatly aware (of the coming collapse) group, the commenters on ZH still had to ask, "Yeah, the whole system is rigged for the TBTF banks and the whatevers, but, anyway, how do we make money off it? Should we short this and go long this?" Hey, dipshits, you know it in your hearts - start prepping, do some real work, and GET! OUT! OF! THE! SYSTEM! (that you abhor)

PS: I appreciate the links, Mr. Smith. I figured most people reading would know more than me about the details. However, this particular article was so full of stupid, on all parts.
Since you put the VDare link*, I went there (I read 99% there, so I do remember this), and that got me to UR comments, always enjoyable. It brought back memories from 4 1/2 years ago, and I see myself with some LOLs there. I have not read the 2nd one from before my time in the comments there. 10 years back! There are only 41 comments, so I will read them. BTW, I think a big uptick in comment # occurred sometime in the 7 year period I participated. I don't think it was just the Kung Flu - may have been a year or two before. From 50-75/post (just my memory, as rectally extracted) to way over 100 average, is what I recall.
That she's trying to get in an apology for even have cared or remarked that this dude is a dude is what shows me she's no warrior of any kind. Let me add something in there on that too...

Rex, I don't see too much difference between what that would turn into - the open category would turn into what is "men's sports" with exceptions* and you'd have the women's. That is, except for, yeah, this tranny business is very obvious stupidity to everyone, probably most of the trannies involved even! It's just that (per Dalrymple) humiliation thing, making people pretend they agree with what is obviously wrong and stupid. Testing of that kind along with any record of actually ever being a man will be necessary now.
* The exceptions would be the same as today. If a tall woman who could throw was good enough to start at 1st base in the majors, I'm sure they would let her play now. In fact, the team would probably make extra 10's or 100's of millions of buck in merchandising.
This goes to something in Steve Sailer's book. He has a nice chapter - but you all have probably read much of this within posts - on the black baseball players. Some of the teams that had the good ones did better because of that, so "economically", it was a good move.
I will digress even more. I have mostly sworn off reading the occasional unz threads I read, along with Gateway Pundit, for the last 2 weeks, but I remember one not too long about the Woke folks wanting to merge in Negro League Baseball stats with the MLB ones. Now, Steve loves his baseball, and he loves stats. They go together, as baseball scorers, announcers, and fans just love those. (Mr. Sailer like a movie called "Moneyball" - I may watch it sometime.)
So for Mr. Sailer, I can see his problem with this. It's mixing apples and oranges, as no matter the fields were the same, etc., these Negro League players obviously played against different players. Then, too, it'll just muck everything up totally, and the books will be freaking full of asterisks! Any organized person would throw up his hands and say "screw it all". I'll just go to an occasional game for the entertainment, sunshine, and hot dogs. (Like me.)

While there are some "sports" (more like activities) where it is perfectly fine for men and women to compete against each other (especially with a proper handicap system in place) I don't think men (or XY chromosome "women" with extra testosterone) should be competing with real (XX chromosome) women in these kinds of sports. It's just not fair to the women.
If it is so important to include the intersex and the trannies in these sorts of events let them compete in their own distinct category or three. Leave the girls alone!

I've said this before and I'm sure I'll say it again: they need to throw out the whole idea of "men's and "women's" sports. Instead, have one division that's open to everyone, and another where you're not allowed to compete if a DNA test shows you have a Y chromosome.
