In Topics:   Elections '16 - '24  Music  Humor  Karmakarma Kameleon
That's our 1st new Topic Key in a long time. We are loath to add any, as then there is backfilling... Note that we won't continue with "Kamel Toe", as we don't want to sound like Andrew Anglin here. Ridicule is good, mind you, and almost all we've got, but it's Karmakarma Kamelion* (for now).
Peak Stupidity gives our sincerest apologies for not referencing and linking to E.H. Hail's newest post on his Hail to You blog (more like a collection of interesting essays) We should have done that in Friday's post Kamel Toe as the Border Czar - Lyin Press fact-checks itself.
That post was just about the Lyin' Press and their complete lack of shame, as they attempted to memory-hole stories they themselves broadcast 2 years back. Mr. Hail gets into some detail on how this broad came to be in the forefront - his title is The Democratic Party as โapparatusโ and as Regime-party; a reflection on how power works in the USA, one day after the anti-Biden palace-coup succeeds There is a lot discussed within, but the biggest point for me was the "coup" thing. Yes, this transition, if I may (still use that normally) from a laughingstock for both squads has become the selected, serious and appropriate candidate for President to run against Trump within 24 - 36 hours.**
Now, Peak Stupidity is well behind the times, and we're still attached to that old laughingstock thing, you know, the thing... wrong guy... cackle, cackle ... I can neither do this on the keyboard nor real life.
This is kind of what we mean:
If the words weren't up there, one could be forgiven for thinking that was really her. That word salad business is the worst of her. It's a different condition than what her boss Joe has, requiring another Peak Stupidity Jiffy-Lube psychoanalysis: Kamaakamala is used to talking to friends and male
Though D.I.E. and sex are pretty powerful, KK may have never expected to get this far up in public life. Any kind of serious talk in response to questions or speeches of any kind has her spouting nonsense in circles. The best she can do is go on autopilot with some adjectives. The idea, best I can figure, is to give herself time to try to pull something concrete to say out of her addled brain. There's never enough time though.
In fairness, Trump goes around in circles too. It's not the same. Rather than NO cogent points, he covers TOO MANY points. Instead of word salad, Trump spews out word Golden Corral Buffet. (They do have a salad bar, though. I don't think he partakes...)
OK, now it's music time. Miss Kameleon said something that makes me wonder if she picks up phrases off of old Led Zeppelin songs. "Burdening the People By What Could Have Been and What Will Never Be!" is part of the caption on Rumble. Did she say something like that? Has she learned the art of plagiarism from her boss? (See Courting the "Goldfish" vote.)
From Led Zeppelin II recorded before Kamakamala's time, we present What Is and What Should Never Be:
There's that use of the phase shifter again, in the slow parts. Pretty cool - sounds like Jimmy Page is coming through on shortwave radio.
We've really got a big backlog here, but I wasn't up to it today. Enjoy the humor and the music anyway.
* This comes from the Boy George song. He's the band or the guy, I never cared that much, but it is a really catchy tune from the days when even the silliest of pop music was very decent. Of course, we'll embed the song, but later, along with another Chameleon song. (Only one commenter I know will guess without the www.)
** Per Mr. Hail in a comment of his under said essay.

RE: Kamala "may have never expected to get this far up in public life."
There is something I've noticed, in even relatively-high-IQ, high-functioning people. But more especially women and in some non-Western-origin people (including high-IQ-etc "Asians"). What I've noticed is this: They can easily trend towards believing in magic.
Females are also at a higher risk for "solipsistic" thinking. Also related is conformism vs questioning conditions around oneself. Females tend towards conformism. So in many cases women end up in a kind of mental fantasy-world. A lot of what we mean by Wokeness, or think of when someone mentions Wokeness, is exactly this.
A woman is presented a situation in which she seems favored. Not only does she NOT question it, she EMBRACES it as a positive moral-good. She slips into irrational belief that any one or more artificial or unfair conditions that benefit her are natural and a positive moral-good. She then acts accordingly, and may even brag and boast of her moral-righteousness to others. She fundamentally comes to believe she is BETTER than males, than Whites (if nonwhite; or even if not in highly-ideologized cases), and certainly-definitely-absolutely better that than that public-enemy class, "White-Christian Heterosexual Males." The latter class is overtly disfavored within the system. And she has come to think of this both natural and good (and by this point she is well into the territory of what some would call delusion). Magical thinking has gotten here there.
To me, that's Kamala. There are a lot of signs of this, that she's a victim in part of this particular female-pathology in the feminism era. A more-natural female-psychology would look up to men for leadership in at least certain areas (and recognize male strengths and potential-strengths); this magical-thinking phenomenon I refer to absolutely will not do that.
Another part of Kamala is her racially non-Western status, though she probably has some minor White-ancestry via her Jamaican father. And still another is the cultural-training of her non-Western parents, including possible inheritance of "caste"-attitudes, which IMO explain why she did this political marriage with a wealthy-and-influential Jew, and why she is favored also to pick Josh Shapiro, an aggressive Zionist, as her "VP nominee." She recognized caste well enough in the USA, and maneuvers within it.
But the most-important thing about her may be that she really believes in her own virtue (even if few others do), in the sense I've outlined earlier in this comment: the female-narcissistic solipsistic magical-thinking way.
I came to see this kind of thinking in my life over the years, in the attitudes and behaviors and offhand comments by women who were overt beneficiaries of nonlevel-playing-field advantages and saying with pride that they deserve x, y, or z advantages because they are women, or nonwhite women especially, and the institution in question is hurting from having too many White-males. And the aura of belief that such a system is right and proper, morally virtuous, with no victims but only a positive-good; as if anti-White-Male-ism were the central religious teaching of a religion we all believe in and which she wants to show loyalty to (which is not far off from true). I see clear signs of this in Kamala.

When they shut down the counting rooms at 9pm on 5 November (ironically โGuy Fawkes Nightโ or Bonfire Night in the UK, to commemorate the Gunpowder Plot), and then deliver a tidal wave of votes for Harris that will look familiar to the trend seen on election night 2020, it will be interesting to see what all those folks who stockpile ammo and firearms actually do. It will be more interesting to see if masses take to the streets in protest, and even more interesting if a majority of police and military take their side, as we now see in Venezuela.

PS: Greetings, Achmed!
The exact wording would be:
"I'll never forget the time I convinced myself that I was gay. I was eight or nine, maybe younger, and I stumbled upon a broadcast by some fire-and-brimestone preacher. The man spoke about the evils of homosexuals, how they had infiltrated our society, and how they were all destined for hell absent some serious repenting. At the time, the only thing I knew about gay men was that they preferred men to women. This described me perfectly: I disliked girls and my best friend in the world was my buddy Bill. ๐โ ๐๐, ๐ผ'๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ก๐ โ๐๐๐."
But you were damn close.

PS: Thanks for the 2 pages of context. That helps a lot. This is from typing, as I couldn't cut/paste from an images, so hopefully this is the exact wording that comes before the segment in the meme:

Oh, oh, I'm going to hell"
Then comes the rest.
I may have to peruse this book sometime.
Wait, didn't you already give us an on-line copy? I probably didn't need to do this, or was the tiny-url for "Elegy" pointing to this one?

PS: About your memes, Adam:
Was that actually an excerpt from Vance's "Elegy"? Seriously, I can't tell anymore.
Secondly, re that first one on the women voters, man, I'd just had some thoughts about that a couple of minutes before, with the word "retarded" in my head. Weird! Speaking of "weird", that's the next post.

The one I had in mind was from CCR, and their album โPendulumโ, which was kind of obscure.
I donโt know how to send you your prize. ;-}

PS: Good morning, Bill. Itโs not like this site has any significant influence, but the more everyone laughs openly at these people, the better, IMO.
I have no idea what the result will be, because the GOP never did take care of the cheating problem in most States. Were it fair, Trump would win, not that I think heโs going to โsave usโ - possibly weโll stave off the collapse for those 4 years.
One thing the Lyinโ Press does is come out with poll numbers favorable toward the ctrl-left. One might think thatโs a bad idea, as people will get cocky (see Instapundit all the time with this) and not vote. I donโt think thatโs the case. They want the numbers to be high so that it appears that the election steal could be legit.
