This is one of those songs you just hear randomly all over the place, say at Target or somewhere, and you think "I've got to get some music by these guys". I hope I don't ever overplay it, as so far I dig this sound every once in a while when I think to find it and listen.
The British band Coldplay from circa 2002 with "Clocks":
I like how the guy ends many of the musical verses with the beginning of the next lyric line. Music scale is in the Mixolydian mode - that's why I like it too - much like Jerry's solos.
