Peak Stupidity noted another example (call that one Exhibit A, as this could go on a while) of this problem with the (Steve Sailer-coined) Coalition of the Fringes 2 posts ago. The weakness in this Coalition built only upon hatred of the White Man in America shows up especially under Socialist circumstances... more so when there aren't too many White men around either.

* My problem with getting posts off news from The Gateway Pundit is that there are so many posts added daily, and they are very current. The stupidity flows quickly these days. I end wanting to write 2 or more a day from there. It may be time to get back to some of the less timely, but possibly more interesting stuff.
I will be ready to write that review of Lionel Shriver's new book by tomorrow, time permitting, and then I want to write about Steve Sailer's latest post on Jews and Progressivism. The latter will take some time...

PS We will be, in fact, bugging out in the near future. We’ve decided to sell up in Cook County and moving to our other place in Riverside County, CA. I feel a bit of a traitor.

PS: Sorry for late reply, Mr. Blanc - it was a very busy day here. You've written about your Sweet Home Chicago before. I also remember your feelings about the black people that don't really have many options. Yes, the illegal alien invasion is not helping their prospects one bit. Then, they don't support anyone who would be the type to do something about it. Then too, the low IQ explains this.
I appreciate your comment based on your experience. I know you said you're not bugging out of there (the wife doesn't want to, IIRC?), but I hope you're in a good area.

PS As a former resident of the South Side (Hyde Park), I have more than a little sympathy with the displaced sharecroppers who made the trek from the South to Chicago from about 1940 until the 1960s. Early in that period there was plenty of work of all sorts, even for people with little education or skills other than chopping or picking cotton. It was said at that time, “If you can’t work in Chicago, you can’t work anywhere”. The lion’s share of that work is now gone, either to other parts of the US or overseas. Yet the descendants of the Great Migration are still, for the most part, there. Some have moved to south suburbs such as Harvey or Dolton (much in the news lately because of their “Super Mayor”. Still others have left for states with more generous welfare benefits, such as Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. Nevertheless, almost a million of them are still in Chicago. A large percentage of that number are unemployable. It’s not entirely their fault. If you have an IQ of 80, even if you have good work habits, there’s a pretty firm limit on the number of jobs open to you. Latino imports are putting even more economic pressure on the blacks. This is not going to end well. At some point the remaining whites will become fed up with paying for all of it and leave. Another once great American city falling into decay.
California, of all places! I know there are a lot of beautiful places there though. I've been all around. Hopefully your lifestyle at this point is one that doesn't result in onerous taxpaying and too much bad local politics.
