Since commenter Alarmist brought up the •Indian holiday Diwali earlier, and I know it's around today, Peak Stupidity will include a greeting to our readers, some perhaps of this persuasion.
Back about 15 years ago, after I'd been off TV for a while already, a nice Chinese woman sold me 4 seasons of The Office TV show on DVD's on the streets of Canton. This set me back 2 US Dollars. I'm pretty sure everything was on the up and up, intellectual-property-wise. She said something to that effect, but, you know, with the tones and all, I am not certain.
Branch office manager Michael Scott is the most lovable politically-incorrect character since Archie Bunker. If you don't like Diwali joke songs, perhaps that's because you shouldn't be here. Enjoy!

PS You might want to try to TV show "Outsourced" (not the movie), a show that could not be made today.

PS It will be interesting to watch the .Indians, the Chinese, and (((Those Who Can’t Be Named))) fighting over the remains of the former USA after Whitey is seen off. I’m curious to know the outcome, but I”m just as glad that I won’t be around to see it.

PS Just read about an Indian architect warning about a Bay bridge in OAK/SF that the CPUSA ordered a CCP/PRC company to build who had zero experience in bridge work while using tech that dates back to the 1960's.
It was years late and $5 billion over budget and no American workers or materials were used.
He says that he will never use it and the next earthquake could cause it to collapse.
Barry and LaVon with the $200 worth of pudding and crib full of freaks is a classic 1990's skit from Com-Cent I believe.
Archie Bunker, Blazing Saddles, Sanford & Son, Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor films could you imagine the uproar today.

Michael Scott was one of the most cringeworthy characters I have ever scene, yet he was certainly rivalled by most of the others. righteous cringefest that Comedy Central runs for hours at a time, so I guess it’s like a fatal accident ,,. you don’t want to watch, but you can’t help it.
