CDC Cautions Against Taking The Red Pill

Yeah, it's from the Babylon Bee. I need to start visiting them daily.
ATLANTA, GA—The CDC has cautioned Americans against taking the red pill, as it can lead to severe side effects such as "realizing the truth about the way our society is manipulated by the elites" and "spending all your time on YouTube watching Jordan Peterson videos."
That's about 1/4 of it. The page has a great unrelated video underneath. Peak Stupidity has covered the pronoun stupidity before in Fun with Pronouns, with a Chinese angle - "Hey Yu! Hu, Mei?"

Now, Abbot and Costello, they had it tough, see. They had to use only the pronouns of the olde English language. What the hey! Here's that famous one:

PS: Good morning everyone...

Thanks for the update Mr. Kief. Good to hear that Hans-Georg Maaßen faces no risk of being prosecuted for the “crime” of retweeting a link to an article on the UNZ-Review. I've never heard of Luisa Neubauer or Anne Will before. I read something about Miss Neubauer being called a hypocrite for flying to all these climate conferences and for her silence concerning NATO war games in eastern Europe. I had no idea she was an heiress to the Reemtsma tobacco fortune. When I googled her I learned that “Luisa Neubauer is one of the richest Environmentalists.” and that “Luisa Neubauer’s income source is mostly from being successful.” Then I looked up Anne Will and I found this...

https://newsbeezer.com/germanyeng/anne-will-breaks-up-with-his-wife-miriam-meckel-sad-news/

Which brings us back to the the pronouns...

“Xena ate her food because she was hungry.”
“Xena ate their food because they were hungry.”
“Xena ate hir food because ze was hungry.”
“Xena ate Xena's food because Xena was hungry.”

https://www.ccsu.edu/lgbt/files/preferredgenderpronouns.pdf
https://www.gsafewi.org/wp-content/uploads/What-the-heck-is-a-PGP1.pdf

• Never, ever refer to a person as “it” or “he-she” (unless they specifically ask you to.)

• It is a privilege to not have to worry about which pronoun someone is going to use for you based on how they perceive your gender. If you have this privilege, yet fail to respect someone else's gender identity, it is not only disrespectful and hurtful, but also oppressive.

So much oppression!

It's one thing if it's some stupid stuff on the playbill that you can ignore, but I sure hope they wouldn't use weird pronouns within the play itself. I'd have to leave.

Should be: "If he can get links put in one of the Globalist's ..."

Mr. Smith - former head of the German secret service Hans-Georg Maaßen faces no risk of being prosecuted. But he is indeed under pressure for retweeting a link to an article on the UNZ-Review.
The young lady calling Maaßen an anti-semite in the biggest German political talkshow "Anne Will" (= the name of the nice moderating lutheran lesbian) is FFF activist Luisa Neubauer, as you mentioned.
Now - Ms. Neubauer, a geologist, comes from the Reemtsma-family, which made its billions not least by cooperating with Adolf Hitler and his Nazi government in WW II. So - here is that: The climate-religion as a way to lower the burdon of being born into the wrong family - and staying ritch nonetheless.
When asked why she lies so much, the quick-witted and charming Lusia Neubauer said in another of her numerous talkshow-appearences, that she only flies when it is necessary - hehe. Case solved! - She decides! She's a young women and nobody has any right to bother her with superficial contraditions in her positions - see - she knows how to succeed in rhetorical battles (she knows from her gut instincts how easy it is for her too).

Dr. Hans-Georg Maaßen, a lawyer, quitely deleted his tweet to the other tweet that linked to an article on the UNZ-review and since then nobody did mention his "antisemitism" much anymore. But he knows now that he is being watched closely.

Oh - I waas the one who put in the link to the weLT-article in the UNZ-review, you quoted above. - And Ron Unz pressed the thank- you-button.

PS: Mr.Smith, "accused of linking to unz.com" Wow. I think this gives Ron Unz a real weapon though, if he can do a little hacking, among all that important software work. If he can get put link in and one of the hated Globalists or ctrl-left websites - in the comments, perhaps - no hacking required - he could get someone on the other side cancelled, just like that.

Maybe it could just be in an email that gets a reply.

Oh, yeah, "Eat mor Chiken'" in the right spot - that'd have been great!

Well, let’s just say that Hopkins lives in Germany, where lots of people have been given long prison sentences for saying the sorts of things published on this website. And he started getting a little nervous about that association.

For example, there’s now a big story that the former head of the German Secret Service might be prosecuted for sharing links from this website:

“Link to Unz Review Causes Big Controversy in Germany – Because of Anti-Semitism – Hans-Georg Maaßen – Former Chief of the German Secret Service Accused of Linking to the Unz-Review”

https://www.welt.de/regionales/thueringen/article231110593/Neubauer-konkretisiert-Antisemitismus-Vorwuerfe-gegen-Maassen.html?cid=onsite.onsitesearch

“Former Chief of the German Secret Service Accused of Linking to the Unz-Review” could be a DailyStupid headline.

Weird how “climate activists” like Luisa Neubauer are given such a large platform and a megaphone.
Here is a picture of her with white Greta in March 2019, during a “climate protest” in Hamburg...

I didn't have a cheeseburger either, but I did celebrate with a little Blueberry Headband and some Chardonnay.
(Not sure if that counts?)

The AOC-Dress/Chick-fil-A mashup was fun.
I thought about photoshopping “Eat Mor Chikin” on her dress, but so far laziness has won the day.

PS: Mr. Hail, I will take out the comment here, but it'll have to be Monday. I'm don't know how it can happen, but you all have found weird bugs before, so I believe you. Next, as for searching this site's pages, yes, it's the worst. An internal search feature is something I could do when (if ever) I revamp it software-wise. What's important too is the ability for others to be able to find the site or a page based on a search of working they've seen. That will take the revamping too, because it's about having flat pages vs. words in a database I'm pretty sure.

Oh yeah, I do remember your mention of Mr. Dinh's book before - sorry you had to write your opinion all again. I can find that too, same time I delete your one comment.

PS: Mr. Anon, I used to click more on writers i'd not heard of. I came upon a lot of flat-out Commies before. Then again, I got to C.J. Hopkins (not there anymore?), MIke Whitney, and probably a few I'm missing but agreed with. I will say that the anti-all-things-American tone is present in the writing of lots of the writers on unz, which fits in with the opinion of the proprietor. Well, he does have something for almost everyone, politicly speaking!

Adam, I forgot to have a cheeseburger, but as for your previous comment to that, I'll have to check out Linh Dinh's explanation or whatever, as that's a little bit of visibility into how the moderation works and varies between the writers. I've been guessing by observation for a few years.

BTW, thank you for that great AOC-Dress/Chick-fil-A mashup (if that's what the kids would call it)! I remember thinking the dress color scheme reminded me of something, I couldn't get to it in my mind and you did. It might be a little late, but I could put those 2 up here soon, just for some quick humor.

Bud: ‘Well because you’re unvaccinated.’

Bud: ‘It doesn’t matter.’
Lou: ‘Well, why does that guy get to go in?’
Bud: ‘Because he’s vaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But he’s sick!’
Bud: ‘It’s alright. Everyone in here is vaccinated.’
Lou: ‘Wait a minute. Are you saying everyone in there is vaccinated?’
Bud: ‘Yes.’
Lou: ‘So then why can’t I go in there if everyone is vaccinated?’
Bud: ‘Because you’ll make them sick.’
Lou: ‘How will I make them sick if I’m NOT sick and they’re vaccinated.’
Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But they’re vaccinated.’
Bud: ‘But they can still get sick.’
Lou: ‘So what the heck does the vaccine do?’
Bud: ‘It vaccinates.’
Lou: ‘So vaccinated people can’t spread covid?’
Bud: ‘Oh no. They can spread covid just as easily as an unvaccinated person.’
Lou: ‘I don’t even know what I’m saying anymore. Look. I’m not sick.
Bud: ‘Ok.’
Lou: ‘And the guy you let in IS sick.’
Bud: ‘That’s right.’
Lou: ‘And everybody in there can still get sick even though they’re vaccinated.’
Bud: ‘Certainly.’
Lou: ‘So why can’t I go in again?’
Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’
Lou: ‘I’m not asking who’s vaccinated or not!’
Bud: ‘I’m just telling you how it is.’
Lou: ‘Nevermind. I’ll just put on my mask.’
Bud: ‘That’s fine.’
Lou: ‘Now I can go in?’
Bud: ‘Absolutely not?’
Lou: ‘But I have a mask!’
Bud: ‘Doesn’t matter.’
Lou: ‘I was able to come in here yesterday with a mask.’
Bud: ‘I know.’
Lou: So why can’t I come in here today with a mask? ….If you say ‘because I’m unvaccinated’ again, I’ll break your arm.’
Bud: ‘Take it easy buddy.’
Lou: ‘So the mask is no good anymore.’
Bud: ‘No, it’s still good.’
Lou: ‘But I can’t come in?’
Bud: ‘Correct.’
Lou: ‘Why not?’
Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But the mask prevents the germs from getting out.’
Bud: ‘Yes, but people can still catch your germs.’
Lou: ‘But they’re all vaccinated.’
Bud: ‘Yes, but they can still get sick.’
Lou: ‘But I’m not sick!!’
Bud: ‘You can still get them sick.’
Lou: ‘So then masks don’t work!’
Bud: ‘Masks work quite well.’
Lou: ‘So how in the heck can I get vaccinated people sick if I’m not sick and masks work?’
Bud: ‘Third base.’

RE: MBlanc46's "I read a few of his last columns from the US. They were depictions of low-rent Philadelphia, the sorts of places that more and more white folks are going to end up in"

and

RE: Moderator's "I haven't read but one column by Mr. Dinh, as I didn't like it."

and

RE: Mr. Anon's "I read one thing by him once and thought: I've got better things to do."

I have written on this before here at PEAK STUPIDITY. I used to feel exactly the same way, and also perceived that Linh Dinh was "trolling" (I still think this may be true). What changed my mind was reading him in paper-book "long form," not the frenetic medium of UNZ in which he gets barraged with comments.

I was stunned one day to find Linh Dinh's "Postcards from the End of America" in a public library, full with the endorsement from "Ron Unz, Silicon Valley entrepreneur and publisher" (or some such description) on the back cover. In that form he is a lot better. He is doing something more like art than analytical writing, which may be obvious, but it is only able to be appreciated in a form like a paper book.

He is also generally sympathetic to Dispossessed White America(ns), far more evident in "Postcards" taken as a whole than in any random article taken individually.

Tried looking for my old comment on similar lines re: Linh Dinh's work. Sadly google doesn't like indexing Peak Stupidity very much, and "site:peakstupidity.com linh" brings up no results. Is there an internal search feature? If not, I would suggest looking into one. The body of material here is enormous after almost five (?) years but is largely inaccessible unless you have an exact post-number in mind.

"[John Derbyshire's] latest column is...on The Unz Review with over 100 comments already"

Although he still writes traditional columns sometimes, I think he is mainly doing these 35-to-40 minute "Radio Derb" audio podcasts, based on scripts he writes for that medium, and that this Haitian illegal immigrants article is one of those.

It's an interesting approach to the medium of writing.

Throughout the week John Derb spends some time brainstorming/notetaking, drafting, then on recording day reads it for audio (podcast) form. Only days later does publish slightly edited segments of the audio in written form. In the audio version, he can include audio from other sources to make the points necessary.

This complicated process is assisted at every step of the way by VDare, his main publisher. A form of neo-publishing, uniting some of the traditional and some of the Internet Age.

Mr. Coup, “and I said shut up blob.” made me laugh for some reason. Do you live in Alberta?

I've read some of Mr. Dinh's articles. I liked a couple of them, kinda, but he's mostly not my speed. I agree with Mr. Blanc, cheap hotels are not that interesting. I've never read postcards from the end of America. As I am a friendly hermit who really doesn't care to leave home, traveling does not look like fun anymore. I too would skip S. Africa. All of Africa actually.

Unz update from Linh Dinh...

“Ron Unz explains he has no objection to me moderating comments after my articles. I would have to be trained, however, in WordPress, a process complicated by my being overseas. Plus, I'd have to log in ten times a day to go through comments. Several Unz writers have tried to do this, only to give up because it's such a time-consuming pain the ass. A better solution, Ron suggests, is for me to tell him which raging trolls to ban.

I have agreed to this new arrangement. I've also asked Ron to attach a note that commenters who are not discussing the article, but are only indulging in ad hominem attacks, will not be tolerated.

After all, this is already a policy at Unz, as stated a while back. It just hasn't been enforced.”

Don't call zim a what, now zi is offended...

How can any society survive when it capitulates to the ever changing demands of the mentally ill?

Please choose to wear a mask in the interest of the people's collective unity and thank you for choosing Air Cattlecar.

PS I read a few of his last columns from the US. They were depictions of low-rent Philadelphia, the sorts of places that more and more white folks are going to end up in. Then I read a few of his first columns when he returned to Vietnam. They were depictions of the lower end of Vietnamese society. I started getting bored when he started traveling round, describing one cheap hotel after another. I’ve stayed in plenty of cheap hotels. They’re not interesting. I stopped reading. Now he goes on a rant against Americans. I quite dislike Southeast Asians who invade the republic that my ancestors built. Bugger the punk.

I had the same experience. I read one thing by him once and thought: I've got better things to do. Mr. Unz has eclectic tastes in columinists. I wouldn't choose to publish but a fraction of the people he does. I mostly just read Sailer's stuff. Although I will occasionally read Derbyshire and Buchanan too. And Whitney Webb, when she has an article there.

I remember it was long about 2000 or so when stewardesses started they're "G'bye" spiel with "We know you have a choice when you fly and we thank you for choosing Air Cattlecar" or something of that kind. Never mind that you often don't have a choice, but are constrained by time, price, or destination.

I guess that establishment was just saying "We know you have a choice in submitting to arbitrary, pointless, and tyrannical rules, and we thank you for submitting yourself to ours".

Given that Ron Unz's name appears on the back cover of Linh Dinh's hit 2017 book, this is the end of a long an lucrative partnership.
