The English band Supertramp created their best music before the era of music videos, throughout the 1970s. Their music culminated with the Breakfast in America album, in my opinion. Perhaps they'd have had some great videos made for their earlier stuff if that media had been around. In 1982 this band had a great video produced for their song It's Raining Again, off the album Famous Last Words.

This video tells a story to go along with the song, which was done occasionally in the music video heyday (which 1982 was near the beginning of). The creation of this video was a job well done.

Supertramp had members come and go, but for their best years, this was the line-up. Roger Hodgson, with that unique voice, left after this album.

Roger Hodgson – grand piano, lead and backing vocals
Dougie Thomson – bass guitar
Bob Siebenberg – drums
Rick Davies – additional synthesizers, melodica solo
John Helliwell – baritone (middle of song) and tenor saxophones, synthesizers

PS:I went to Toronto with my soccer team for a tournament in the summer of '79. I swear the only music I heard for the 4 days I was there was from the "Breakfast in America" album. It was everywhere!
