A confluence of stupidities at San Ysidro

I'm telling you, it's like a conjunction of Mercury - the Gay Planet - and Uranus, something the math would predict but very hard to actually observe, without mirrors (I mean, with a reflector telescope), and with the Sun's glare and all. The immigration stupidity has been ramping up steeply since Zhou Bai Dien and his string-pullers were put in charge of things. Much more recently, the violence in the Middle East between Moslems and Israelis has flared up. Now, these 2 bodies of stupidity have gone into conjunction at the US Border, in San Ysidro, part of San Diego, California.

The VDare All-Things-Immigration site has as writer who used to work for the Border Patrol. Former Agent spent most of his career that at the northern border with Canada, but knows how things work and keeps up with the current antics of the organization. He wrote a post the other day based on on-the-scene video reports by one Ben Bergquam about this incredible scene down there: As Israel Is Under Attack, Jewish Family Services Buses Are Picking Up Arab Illegals At The Border.

As Peak Stupidity has explained over and over, there are people coming from all over the world. I think these "aid" groups, if they do know that, would be perfectly happy this leads to peace and perfect harmony, at least if the writers of a 50 y/o Coca~Cola commercial can be considered experts on these matters.
The thing is that they are helping Syrians, Yemenese, and Chechens into the country among others. They’re not all Mexicans and Central Americans. The Border Patrol has caught people from 160 different nations. Iceland is about the only country they haven’t caught people from.
Not fair! More Ice People! ("They came from the land of the ice and snow where the hot springs rise while the hot girls blow..."*)

Many of these imported future Coca~Cola drinkers are not too fond of Jews... just sayin'...
At a time when Israel is under attack, what in the world is Jewish Family Services thinking?
Here's what the people of Jewish Family Services are thinking:
"We are virtuous people. That's the important thing, and that's what we need the public to know. There may be a few bad apples, but the host families will help them assimilate, or worst case, it's the Government's job. I'd hate to think they'll start killing our people, but, let's not think about that. We can't be profiling the people of this immigration invasion. That's not virtuous at all, as we ourselves made sure everyone knows, right after 9/11."
To be fair, plenty of other "virtuous" religious groups, of your standard White ethnicities, think the same way. One difference is that their stupidity does not have the possible immediate results, as we can foresee here for the Jewish members of Jewish Family Services. The long-term stupidity for everyone is that we are more and more living in foreign lands within our own country, even if it's not among people who are plain bent on killing us.** More from the Former Agent:
Bensman wrote a book, America’s Covert Border War, but he claims the programs that were once in place to stop terrorists have been corrupted and are no longer viable. He claims the Middle Easterners are being let into the United States unvetted. There’s a Muslim only migrant center now in Tijuana.

The Biden administration has only deported 1% of those who have come across since the start of the administration. It has always been a calculation of the Left that once illegal aliens are in the interior of the country, then it becomes extremely hard to deport them. Among other things, it’s thanks to our intentionally dysfunctional immigration courts.
Back to the Jewish stupidity of having, on average, supported this stupidity for a half a century, now they my pay the price in blood right here in America. Just after 9/11, the Neocons promoted war in the Middle East for the reason of "fighting them over there, so we don't have to fight them over there."

That expression was uttered time and again in those years. It sounded good, but the logic is unsound. Why would these people be over here to fight us to begin with? Are we fighting them over there to keep them out of here? Whaaa? You just control your borders and immigration entry points and keep the bad ones from coming in a legal manner too in the first place. Then too, if we keep fighting them over there, what will be the general attitude of the ones we invite over here?

I guess they wanted to test this idea by letting them in. More Saudi Arabians were let in yearly on visas after 9/11 than before (assuming they were the 9/11 culprits here). President Trump implemented a Moslem ban, and he and the plan were derided by the ctrl-left. That'd most assuredly include "Jewish Family Services".

On that score, I was about to wrap up this post, but ran into a new A. W. Morgan post, Terror Attack Coming? Border Agents And Families Threatened, Biden Imported 63K From Countries Trump Banned. The inner excerpt here is from John Binder of Breitbart***.
Third, and perhaps most significantly, the Biden Regime ended POTUS 45 Donald Trump’s misnomered “Muslim ban” and immediately began importing formerly banned Great Replacers:
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) data for Fiscal Year 2022 gives insight into the volume of legal immigration to the U.S. from countries that former President Donald Trump had placed on a travel ban list because they either did not share critical national security data or were found to harbor and sponsor terrorists.

Biden, in January 2021, ended the travel ban.

Those travel countries, by 2020, were Iran, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Venezuela, North Korea, Nigeria, Myanmar, Eritrea, Sudan, Tanzania, and Kyrgyzstan.

From October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022, Biden brought nearly 63,000 legal immigrants from the travel ban countries to the U.S. on green cards — about 7,300 of which arrived as chain migrants, while more than 4,300 arrived through the Diversity Visa Lottery.
Thinking back on Peak Stupidity's previous couple of posts asking why the Middle East has to be America's business, now the massive importation of the people involved has made it our business, right here, right now.

PS: Steve Sailer has surprisingly come out with a very good post on The Unz Review trying to come to grips with this self-defeating stupidity by the very influential Jewish left (and, yes, there are those on the right). He didn't cover the current madness, but it's an overall criticism of this stupidity in general - see The World-Historical Question.

* Disclaimer: I did not look up actual Led Zeppelin Immigrant Song lyrics out of laziness - heard the song many times, got the 8-track tape - this is the way I've always heard it...

** That's not to mention the dozens of other major problems due to the invasion. Peak Stupidity and VDare have been all over these problems over the years, the latter site more comprehensively.

*** Ahhh, jeeze, come on! Spell check acts like it doesn't know Breitbart. Sure they don't.

PS: SafeNow, I meant to add this to what I wrote you below:

Besides those quality of life effects, what I'm worried about is how many more TSA-style anti-Terra policies will be pushed now, in the name of "fighting them over here because we are an open-bordered country fighting them over there." Will that be the new mantra? "We must fight them over here too." Search the Grannies and kiddies, not just at the airports anymore, but also on the streets and the sidewalks - could be terrorists.

PS: Nikki Haley is just disgusting.* She sure learned the art of being a politician, though. It takes a lot of gall to talk about closing the border, but just for now, of course, so these Terrorists don't get in to cause havoc right now, while this big Neocon big break of a story is in the news. OK, it's not just "in the news" but the Infotainment Panic of late '23, from the what you've informed me, Mr. Hail.

So, no regrets from Nimramadingdong about that Bai Dien and crew have had the floodgates open since their Day 1, with an even bigger surge over the last 6 months or so**? No questioning about maybe controlling the border for good and sending people back, antiSemitic terrorists or just nation/job/culture destroying foreigners? Oops, can't mention the latter, cause, •Indian...

On "terror tunnels": I don't get why they are such a problem for the Israeli border guards/military. You can monitor a lot of area with cameras, and you come in pounding sand if you see anyone coming up. It's not rocket science, and it goes along with that America could EASILY control our borders, much easier than before modern electronics. (Imagine during the first winter of the Korean War - late 1950 / early '51 when a million or so Chinese soldiers came across the Yalu River without the Allies having a whole lot of knowledge about it.)

Megan Kelly has got her niche, I guess. I imagine she does believe in much of what she spouts with her most important point being "Look at me! Low cut blouse today!" "How DEI breeds Anti-Semitism." Yeah, put your talking points together - see how that flies with the focus panels. Even Steve Sailer does not at all get what Wokeness is really about - just made a comment that might get moderated today under his recent post*** about this.

So this is a new moral panic, with the Neocons already well set up. They've had the Ukrainian thing going on for 1 1/2 years. Maybe it's not polling well with people anymore, and more importantly, with viewers.

* That President Trump appointed her to ANYTHING (it was UN Ambassador) is one of those things that makes me wonder what the hell if wrong with him sometimes. Was it to help out South Carolina? If so, OK,t there's your 5-D Chess they kept talking about.

** For an idea, check out Tucker Carlson's video interview of Todd Bensman (mentioned in our post before) on the Mexican side of the border across from Eagle Pass, TX. This is in a post by "Former Agent":

*** He's got his anthology book out now - I went to that post to capture a DOT**** for Mrs. Haley, haha, and stayed for a bit. Whewww, but if you go to the link, you'll see that the leather bound hardcopy is a "pretty dear", as the Brits put it.

**** Keyboard shortcuts don't work on all my keyboards, Mr. Smith - I know you want to help out on this.

PS: Mr. Hail, I thank you for that play-by-play of Fox News and their ME WarFest, '23. You are right that I wouldn't, almost couldn't, have watched this stuff.

First, about the network, I understand that they've always been Neocon in foreign affairs outlook, but this must be a golden opportunity for them to get eyeballs away from, or more separated from, other networks. The others, I assume, have to be very careful not to offend those who come for the ctrl-left, who have of the last few decades been supporters of "The Squad" and all things non-traditional. (I'm not saying direct support for Israel SHOULD be a traditional thing, but it has been.)

Without watching, in this case more valuable than reading a transcript, I can't say whether Gov. DeSantis' response on this matter is heartfelt or just, as Alarmist speculates, based on his previous ways not have any positive NET effect. Yes, Florida has a big Jewish contingent, and they are not the ones who stay home to watch Sportsbsall on voting day.

PS: SafeNow, that's one concern, the effect of yet another foreign contingent on the operation of daily life. As much as I disagree with the big Moslem enclaves, such as in Detroit, Minneapolis, etc. being here, at least the former, Hamtramck, is no slum, and I guess full of fairly competent people, if not future rocket surgeons.

It hasn't been always the case, in history. by any means, but modern day "refugees" - most of them not, actually - are by definition not your most competent, accomplished, well-adjusted crowd. Who knows what different kind of innocent havok Gazians, etc. will wreak, perhaps different from the closing of freeways due to errant, un-secured ladders and that sort of thing.

Southern California used to be the best place in the World. I assume you were there during that time, SafeNow, so this much be so sad.

-- My final Fox News Israel-Palestine update --

I no longer have access to Fox News for a while, but it was interesting to check in on what's going on there. It's about what I expected but dialed up in the absurdity, I'd say.

As I know most readers here, including the Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Moderator, does not watch Fox News (but "Fox News watches you," we might say) I can make this final report to add a few more observations.

They trotted out Victor Davis Hanson.

Let me say this about VDH: Back in the 2000s, vDH man was sort of a more-academic version of Steve Sailer (and Sailer mentioned him often in 2000s-era blogging). By some time in the 2010s, VDH was a regular in Establishment right-wing commentary, but was often quite good. What VDH would offer was a well-spoken version of Trumpism without the demagogic-personality stuff. VDH even argues for a form of Sailerite Citizenism, and VDH even publised his latest book on the theme (The Dying Citizen").

That having been said, there is a reason that Victor Davis Hanson got "in" with the Establishment and Sailer was "out," relegated to a literal closet, cheap-suits, and a large semi-"shadow following" of readers. I was reminded, this day on Fox News, of what that reason is. It is this:

Victor Davis Hanson genuinely surprised me by uncharacteristically threatening Iran. He whacked rhetorical-political golf-balls that Fox News had tee'd up for him, in a way that Sailer would probably never do, in a way that Sailer is probably temperamentally incapable of doing.

The final Fox News segments I saw remained full, wall-to-wall pro-Israel cheerleading --- nota bene, that is with NO OTHER NEWS mentioned at all, or none that I could tell. "So much" (as they say) for Fox News as a 24-hour "news channel."

As I left my viewing-post, Fox News had just started profiling what they called, unironically, "pro-Terror Demonstrations in America." They said they were so baffled that some people in the USA didn't support Israel that they sought expert comment and psychological-profiling of the pro-Terror people out there. The experts explained that the virus of Pro-Palestinian Terrorism Support was proliferated in a dangerous way.

Pro-Terror views, it was said by Fox News (during their emergency wall-to-wall 24-hour Save Israel broadcast) had infiltrated U.S. elite institutions. These evil views could lead to suicide-bombings against White-Christian Americans, it was strongly suggested. That means Hamas and other groups bombing shopping-malls in White-Christian areas, churches, or while you or your female loved-one is out buying one of those Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte people like so much for some reason. The double-message: Hamas may infiltrate bombers to kill you, and meanwhile a large domestic enemy is out there cheering them on.

As I left my viewing-post I had a mix of feelings, some was to laugh at the absurdity; some was disgust at the vileness of the propaganda; other was confusion at the strategy of the U.S. elite here. The overall tone of the Fox News coverage and commentary I saw was a 2020s tee-vee version of those century-old posters that warn people to BEWARE OF VENEREAL-DISEASE!, with shocking images accompanying the warnings. Your own reckless behavior could hurt you. But now, it's lack of support for Israel rather than lack of precautions in the realm of sex.

Megan Kelly, a former Fox News anchor and now influential radio and podcast host who easily snags important guests all the time (testament to her influence) has gone full pro-Israel in a clumsy way. I see she now has something out purporting to be an expose on "How DEI breeds Anti-Semitism." All of her 'content' since the jailbreak raid by the Gazans of last week, as far as I can tell, is similar to the Fox News content I've described in these reports.

In conclusion and in summary, there is quite a moral-panic going on in an important segment of the Regime.

Fox News is now running a permanent fund-raising campaign:

.... "Join Fox Corp. in supporting the ISRAEL EMERGENCY FUND."

It gives a website and a QR-code, where you can be separated from your money and that money diverted to a favored group of Semites and bash a disfavored group of Semites. Those familiar with U.S. TV will know well that this type of commercial ("Save Jews in need! Send cash NOW!") are actually pretty common, in a way that is bizarre and disgraceful.

-- Nikki Haley calls for ten eyes for one Jewish eye --

Nikki Haley was brought on to Fox News in their cavalcade of statement-of-orthodoxy giving, previously mentioned in my comment below. She warns: "This is going to get ugly" as she cheers on an invasion of Gaza, now said to be delayed about two days from now because of inclement weather.

Haley suggests there could be tens of thousands of deaths by Terrorist-Palestinians. It does not appear that she has ever been as animated about anything related to the USA. She does sneak in word that she now wants to "close the border" with Mexico, but makes it clear this is to stop terrorist infiltration.

Nikki Haley refrains from attacking rivals in the Republican camp directly, but asserts that she is toughest on Terrorism and has been for years. She says she has "toured the terror-tunnels" dug against Israel by Palestinians and was shocked by the evil of those tunnels.

She suggests that most political-bozos out there "act like it's September 10th" (i.e., 2001, the day before so-called "Nine-Eleven") ("Nine-Eleven" is actually a poor choice of branding in that so many of our fellow Western people use the DAY-MONTH format, even the British more often than not.)

The host thanks Nikki Haley for her courage and bravery for touring the Terror-Tunnels some years ago and her pro-Israel stance at the UN and elsewhere. He concludes: "This is crucial moment in our history, and also in Israel's history."

-- DeSantis brought into the Israel-Palestine Question --

RE: Adam Smith

In my Fox News viewing -- they are doing saturation war-coverage with theme-music and a cool-graphic that says ISRAEL AT WAR opening every segment -- they also paraded around every politician they could find to make a statement-of-faith that they love Israel and/or hate Palestinians.

Fox News brought on the 2024 Republican candidates to do this. Tim Scott declared a Black Man's Jihad against Hamas and made flamboyant pro-Jewish statements, not just pro-Israel as a state, but pro-Jewish as an ethnic diasporic nation. He then called for U.S. support in the extermination of Hamas. This insane kind of talk was more usual than not. This is what the old Imperial-Chinese called the "kow-tow," I believe.

A little while later, DeSantis was brought on screen. He was given every opportunity to do a Tim Scott-style blood-screed against Palestinians and in favor of Jews. Of course they all know well that doing so will benefit them with the Jews and hence powerful forces in the USA. But DeSantis did not do it.

What was strange (in comparison) about DeSantis' "performance" was that he treated it like a hurricane, and he seemed to specifically say he did not want to make any political or "incendiary" comments (I believe he used the word "incendiary" to criticize the crazed-talk by others). Probably you could find a copy on youtube of this, but if so it's important to view it in comparison to what others were saying.

I would like to put the terror risks aside, because as you probably know, I am a “daily-life impacts” commenter. For example, I don’t worry (much) that Pablo will slice me up with his machete. Rather, I worry Miguel will spill his ladder or mattress or gravel, and thus tie me up on a S. Cal freeway; or impact my day in a hundred other Miguel-ish ways. So, regarding Muslim invaders, let’s please put aside the terror risk, and tell me: Are there Miguel-type unravelings that Mohammad will bring to my daily life?

Vowing to bring “Floridians” home, Gov. Ron DeSantis declared a state of emergency in Florida - some 6,500 miles from Israel - that authorizes rescue missions to Israel amid its war with the evil, baby decapitating, Jew hating Hamas terrorists.

His executive order means the state will arrange for chartered flights for Floridians currently in Israel as well as to send supplies, said Emergency Management spokeswoman Alecia Collins.

The state of emergency, an unusual action involving a foreign country, allows the DeSantis regime to pay for the operations by tapping into the millions of dollars in its Emergency Preparedness and Response Fund.

DeSantis also said in the order that the state has been “surging law enforcement resources” “to protect the Jewish population in their schools and places of worship.” He also ordered leaders of both the Florida National Guard and Florida State Guard to activate “as needed to respond to the emergency.”

Collins did not say if Florida was coordinating with the U.S. State Department in evacuating Jews or where exactly in Israel the flights would land. The State Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The State Department plans to begin offering charter flights to Europe to help Jews leave Israel starting Friday, Reuters reported.

Additionally, DeSantis has mobilized law enforcement agencies including the Florida Highway Patrol and Florida Department of Law Enforcement, plus officials at schools, colleges, and universities, “to ensure that Florida does not tolerate any harassment of Jews and to prevent any financial support to any of the evil, baby decapitating terrorist organizations that threaten the Jewish state.”

Florida is home to one of the largest Jewish populations in the world, including large numbers of Dual Citizens and Jews with businesses in Israel.

Fox News is running wall-to-wall pro-Israel war-cheerleading, saturation-coverage of a military-dispute which, a martian training to be an observer of Earth but new to the scene would simply assume that this "Israel" is an important part of this big entity known as "the United States."

Fox news is also doing unironic 2000s-throwback coverage of "The TERRORISTS are among us!" And alleging that The Terrorists have infiltrated all the campuses with anti-American anti-Semitic pro-Terrorists.

People use the word "visceral" in a sense too metaphorical for what Dr. Noah Webster (peace be upon him) ascribed it to mean in his dictionary. But this Fox News coverage I saw today was something-close-to-literally "viscerally" unpleasant to me, as in giving an uneasy feeling in the stomach similar to that unusual feeling of disorientation induced by roller-coasters.

Yes, friends, it is all highly surreal and a little ridiculous. Here's one you'll like: Fox News had one of its cute-female reporters do a segment in which she reported, breathlessly!, on how The Terrorists are infiltrating at the southern border. She said that three Egyptians and a Lebanese were caught at the border trying to sneak in for unknown purposes, "just this week alone!"
