Ron DeSantis against Birthright Citizenship and his Anti-illegal-alien program

  Immigration Stupidity  President DeSantis

I hinted at an "I told you so" post back on Saturday. That may not be to so many of our readers, but to those who say Trump is the only hope for a good fight against the immigration invasion, nah, I told you the good Governor of Florida is serious.

This is just a follow-up to Peak Stupidity's post Trump v DeSantis: Round 8 - Birthright Citizenship which said near the end "You're move, DeSantis". Well, per VDare's A.W. Morgan's recent post At Eagle Pass Immigration Presser, DeSantis Outflanks Trump To Right On Border Invasion DeSantis is indeed against the Birthright Citizenship stupidity. (Does any country but the US have a policy so stupid?)

Here's Ron DeSantis' proposal on illegal immigration, per the article:
* End Birthright Citizenship;
* End catch-and-release;
* Renew Remain in Mexico;
* Detain potential asylees;
* Close the Flores loophole;
* Tax remittances from illegal aliens;
* End prosecutorial discretion and parole authority;
* Report criminal aliens and visa overstays;
* Fortify, enforce E-Verify;
* Defund and prosecute those who violate U.S. immigration laws;
* Strengthen penalties for human trafficking, smuggling, and reoccurring illegal reentry;
* Focus Immigration and Customs Enforcement on illegals;
* Cease subsidies for Treason Lobby non-governmental and international organizations that aid the Great Replacement invasion;
* Renew asylum agreements with the Northern Triangle;
* Immigration judges received summary disposition authority;
* Curtail visas from countries that refuse deportees;
* Hire more personnel for U.S. Customs and Border Enforcement;
* Deploy the military to assist the border patrol until the wall is built;
* Declare Mexican drug cartels to be Transnational Criminal Organizations and use force to fight them;
* Cross the border to fight cartels if Mexico refuses to help shut them down;
* Stop DOJ from suing states when they enforce immigration laws, and support their constitutional right to defend against invasion;
* Cut federal funds to sanctuary jurisdictions; and
* Drop illegals from census apportionment.
Great stuff!

Since I read this post over a week ago, VDare's Washington Watcher II asked the readership DeSantis Releases His Immigration Plan: Is It Better Than Trump’s?. He's got a lot of detail in there an immigration patriot voter ought to read. Part of his answer though is "Indeed, finding the differences in the two plans is difficult."

OK, but even if the plans are identical, Ron DeSantis is a much better bet, as he is a guy who will ACTUALLY EXECUTE the plans he promotes.

DeSantis' Presidential campaign is going slow, to say the least.

Now - Tucker Carlson said the big difference between DeSantis and Trump (I love trump, he said to the most viewed GB podcaster) is - - - the neocon hawks' world dominance idea, which DeSantis backs in Ukraine.

As does Mike Pence - - here is blogger Simplicius:

As can be seen, this is the exactly the type of response Ukraine is hoping to elicit. Their only option left is to very predictably goad Russia into all out nuclear war against NATO.

They apparently tried to attack the Kerch Bridge as well but the missile(s) was shot down by Russian S-400s:

The Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to hit the Kerch Bridge today. The missile was intercepted by the anti-aircraft gunners of the 31st Air Defense Division of the Russian Armed Forces. No damage was done to the bridge.

Open and count LEGITIMATE votes. If the objectors show fraud, the constitution mandates he send the electors back to the state(s) for investigation.

Pence must have missed the "Election of 1876" in his History class where the Entire Election was Flipped from Samuel Tildon to Rutherford B Hayes including Florida, South Carolina, and Louisiana for "Voter Fraud" and "Voter Irregularities." Hayes ended up Winning by 1 Vote after the Electors were Flipped! The 12th Amendment says to "Count" it doesn't say HOW you have to Count, and there is No Constitutional Amendment that says it. In other words, no law can instruct you HOW to Count, only a Constitutional Amendment could do that, which they never had the 38 States to ratify. The VP is like a Secretary of Elections and he's supposed to sort it out with the Congress. Even Thomas Jefferson Voided out Georgia EV votes. Mike Pence must have been sleeping in history class when they talked about the Constitution!

A bit OT - - Is Mike Pence a decent man?

Mr. Hail - - - this is quite somehting here: Mike Pence called out at a tiny rally about his position on voter fraud - - - and: The action he finally took as Vice President.

The commenters at The Gateway Pundit - öhh - notice, that Mike Pence misquotes the constitution - - to justify what he did - and that he still attacks Donald Trump on the basis of his wrong quotes.

Thank you, Dieter, for clarifying, and for the nice story.
Thank you, Mr. Moderator, for your expression of sympathy. The loss of politeness in CA saddens me as much as the stupidity. A study analyzing politeness by State ranked CA last. (Top3: Montana, Vermont, Alabama.)
Heinlein said (you all probably know the quote but just in case…

“A dying culture invariably exhibits personal rudeness. Bad manners. Lack of consideration for others in minor matters. A loss of politeness, of gentle manners, is more significant than is a riot.”

I got a bit confused here - - Adam is right - - I wanted to say the hawks.

Of course, these things run deep and it might have been Yeats too that misled me, SafeNow - - - I do love this falcon/falconer passage indeed.
Nobody uses hawk in German as a metaphor for agressive warmongering: In German - such people are - - falcons. My uncle, who passed away recently, did a bit of - falconing, when i was a kid, so I know these birds from up close - but also from my 120 or so wood-walks a year. I know one small falcon who lives near our house and whom I meet often. Especially in the winter when he regularly sits motionless on a tree nearby.

PS: It's really a great trick, how they assume jurisdiction...

“and subject to the jurisdiction thereof” might have been better as “and not subject to the jurisdiction of another Sovereign”

PS: SafeNow, I'd be all for severe penalties for the employment of illegal aliens. You don't have to bust everyone with it. Just as with a serious individual deportation program, if you bust one big business (like say, that meat-packing plant in Post City, Iowa, back when CIS, ICE, whomever it was then, still did their job much of the time), then others will get the idea. Then, when they show up at the welfare office, you deport them.

This goes down to the level of residential building contractors and roofing companies. It won't work if it's just small fines involved. Bankrupt a few of them.

It sound pretty miserable in California. Sorry to hear about it.

PS: Good options, so it's one or the other then, Adam and SafeNow, regarding the falcons. It's not about football - I know that much.

That last part of "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof,,..." has somehow created the loophole that the drafters of Amendment XIV didn't foresee. Subject to the jurisdiction of? It's being interpreted as "in a location in which US law applies" or something Both Ann Coulter and you straightened this out for me long ago.

Thanks for the map, anyway. Women of Peak Stupidity: If you're anywhere past 36 weeks, head to Uruguay, prontomundo!!

I assume Dieter was alluding to “The Second Coming.” Yeats. “The falcons cannot hear the falconer.”

“Fortify, enforce e-Verify” contains so much wiggle room as to be meaningless. To be meaningful, extremely harsh sanctions against the employer must be specifically detailed. (One wag on Unz suggested the employer should be executed.) This will cause millions of invaders to self-deport. ( I hope it would begin with the people who kept me waiting in the emergency room in a hallway for five hours, and with the leaf blowers all around me.) And, it would operate as a total deterrent against new invaders.

PS: Greetings, everyone,

Mr. Moderator, when Dieter said "resist the falcons" I think he meant "resist the hawks".

I don't know what DeSantis's plans are exactly, but he should move to have the U.S. officially recognize Vattel's definition of "natural born citizen" as found in the law of nations. Simply put...

"The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens."

Everyone seemed to know that until it became politically fashionable to no longer understand that sometime in the mid 60's or so.

"Does any country but the US have a policy so stupid?"
https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/countries-with-birthright-citizenship

Not sure how accurate that map is. Strictly speaking it is inaccurate about the U.S. in a de jure sense, though the U.S. has effectively exercised de facto birthright citizenship for many years.

PS: Oops, I see you mentioned the Ukraine too, Dieter. DeSantis started off with a pretty good stance... does the Neocons/ Deep State / MIC just get to everybody early on?

Regarding Trump, I'm not sure what you mean by "resist the falcons", as, regarding Syria, his sending of missiles into that country early on - first few months, as I recall - was what got me thinking the Neocons already had captured him. I guess you mean that he resisted a bigger war there.

In general, President Trump kept away from the warmongering. However, as with everything, that only lasted until Jan 19th of '21. Now, if he'd fired enough Generals to have ended up with enough Generals who would actually obey him and pulled troops and weapons of war from all over the world back home, it'd have been more of a permanent policy.

Yeah, the Russia election collusion story, just ridiculous on its face, was a kill 2 birds with one stone idea - anti-Russia and anti-Trump.

This is a- öh: huge - - difference to Trump: DeSantis did jump the Ukraine-train already - - - ahh - the Floridian Navy bases etc. etc. - - is Raytheon producing in Florida too? - - -

As we hear from insiders: Trump did resist the falcons decisively - and at times even ferociously in the case of Syria, if I remember right - near east it was definitely).

He also clearly said over and over again: He could get along with Vladimir Putin easily...so: He also opposes the Putin Bad narrative, that is out there. - Btw. - - -this might well have been a reason, that they came to think to finger the Russian Collusion hoax. - Which internally ran for a time under the title of a Rolling Stones song - - - - they thought, that this Russian colluison number would be hip - - - .
