Is the Pope Catholic? See, now you used to hear that expression a lot. "Hey, do you think I should park the car somewhere right away, since my oil pressure light is on?" "Is the Pope Catholic?" That meant, "of course, yes." How should we phrase it now? "Do you think we're going to get wet here in Tampa, Florida today?" "C'mon, is the Pope a Latin American Commie?" "Yeah, I'd better go ahead and cancel the BBQ."

ABOARD THE PAPAL PLANE (AP) -- Pope Francis has sharply criticized climate change doubters, saying history will judge those who failed to take the necessary decisions to curb heat-trapping emissions blamed for the warming of the Earth.

Francis was asked about climate change and the spate of hurricanes that have pummeled the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean recently as his charter plane left Colombia on Sunday and flew over some of the devastated areas.

"Those who deny this must go to the scientists and ask them. They speak very clearly," he said, referring to experts who blame global warming on man-made activities.
OK, let's start at the beginning - If you believe this Global Climate DisruptionTM nonsense, why ARE you traveling around the world in the PAPAL PLANE, vs using electronic methods to communicate with your flock of sheep ? Ask a scientist how to do this, any of 'em. They speak very clearly, precisely one might say, but precise does not mean accurate. I think this guy is not only a Commie fool but pretty far off the Catholic religion when he talks about who "history will judge". Who knows what history will say, as it is written by the winners, whether they were righteous or not. For his flock, he should be worried about who will be judged by God, especially for not seeking the truth (the "Word")

For those who have denied climate change, or delayed actions to counter it, he responded with an Old Testament saying: "Man is stupid."

"When you don't want to see, you don't see," he said.
Now, the question in my mind, seeing as we nothing if not generous here at Peak Stupidity, is did Commie Francis say this nonsense before or after he busted his face on a part of the (Eco-, I hope) PopeMobile? Yes, man is stupid, and men with head injuries are stupider still. I really can't find that "Man is Stupid" quote in the Old Testament, but then I have the King James version, not the Revised Premier Lenin Eco-version, with the forward by Salvador Allende.

I can quote another passage that quotes Jesus in the New Testament, that goes like "Thou hypocrite, first cast out the piece of PopeMobile fiberglass beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the unfinished climate modeling paper mote out of thy brother's eye.”
